The commander of a mortar brigade and professor of history Myroslav Borysenko said that during 2023-2024, residents of villages and small towns were mostly mobilized. According to him, those liable for military service in large cities may evade.

Myroslav Borysenko said this in an interview with "TSN" on Thursday, November 14.

Mobilization in Ukraine

Borysenko emphasized that mobilization is probably one of the few things in a war that cannot be done without the state.

The military reported that due to unsuccessful mobilization, there is currently a serious problem in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to him, employees of the TRC are most actively mobilizing residents of villages and small towns.

"I command a brigade of guys who fell under the so-called "busification". I have almost no residents of big cities. We only have one me. Previously, the social composition was different. Now 90% are residents of small towns and villages. One of the interesting stories is when a guy was looking for a job at a construction site, arrived, gave his documents to a foreman, and he turned out to be an agent or employee of the TRC," says Borysenko.

He believes that there are no more draft evaders in the villages.

Let us remind you that in Ukraine, 36 thousand people work in territorial recruitment and social support centers currently, of which about seven thousand are civilians.

Men with certain mental disorders can also serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Mobilization is impossible with some diseases, but mild disorders do not prevent the implementation of certain work.
